The Soul Collection is available for sale online platform Portugal Design Market, a site dedicated exclusively for sales design produced in Portugal, but it is not only about sales, is also a project for the dissemination of good ideas, good products and especially good Portuguese design. Has more than 70 partners among designers, architects, craftsmen and many national brands. Some are considered luxury brands, other informal, contemporary and relaxed, where many are design accessible to our daily life. With the clear objective of expansion, Portugal Design Market is increasingly seeking partners to join the project.
In June this year occurred in Oporto customs the 4th edition of Oporto Show, the largest design event in the Iberian Peninsula with the presence of more than 100 brands and visited by more than 15,000 people who are interested in design. The Desistart participated in the event as a way to promote its collection Soul, featuring rugs Brown, Cropper and Franklin, as well as the area of customized production.
We present our first collection: Soul. It is an emotive collection, mysterious and passioned, as the musical genre that inspired us. Full of modernity and class, inspired by three great names that raised the fame of Soul to worldwide recognition. James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and Steve Cropper were the personalities who have given us the inspiration and passion essential for the design of the three rugs which constitute this collection. The colors, shapes and textures were carefully chosen to symbolize aspects and characteristics of the artists, creating a perfect harmony between design and Soul music.
